Is it possible for a child with Asperger's to also have ADHD?

Mental health experts differ about this. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual IV (DSM-IV) suggests that Asperger's should only be diagnosed when another diagnosis (like ADHD) is not present. But most clinicians believe these disorders can exist together. Medicine for ADHD symptoms certainly can help the inattention/hyperactivity in some Asperger's children.

Yes, a child with Asperger's can have any other disorder. ADHD is a common disorder for many children with Autism to have.
