Yes, it's alright to use them. It's your wedding so you should do as you please. Silk flowers are so much easier to clean up after and often times the cost is lower.

Of course! Just make sure they are nice ones that do not look too fake. It will save on cost and you do not need to worry about wilting.

Yes! Any color and style, it's cheaper and you get to keep it. Used to be popular and many still do it and even make their own to save money.

Silk flowers for a wedding are just as acceptable as real flowers. The advantages to silk is that they are generally less expensive and will keep for much longer. While they lack the fragrance of real flowers they hold up more durably throughout the big day. They also can be prepared well in advance of the wedding.
