There are many books and online sources that can offer tutorials. However, the basics of silk flower making is using a variety of textured fabrics, set with cornstarch and assemble with glue, florist wire and florist tape.

Start with raw silk and cut a floral pattern and then layer them. Sewing them in the center by attaching a button will complete it.
