Sure. Goldfish do not require a lot of socialization. Keep in mind that they can get large and produce a lot of waste. You will need to keep it in a tank of at least twenty gallons to keep it happy and healthy.

It is quite alright to keep a single goldfish! Depending on the situation, it may be best to keep only one. Goldfish are quite messy fish.
