I don't concider it to be dangerous, but there are risks and sacrifices that you have to make. Recovering alcoholics often need a strong support system and people to help keep them on track and encourage them. Marrage is a commitment and means you accept them in sickness and health!

It is not dangerous to marry a recovering alcholic because recovery is an ongoing life changing experience. With the right groups/meetings and family support a recovering alcholic will be fine.

Although it is certainly a difficult situation to marry someone who has had such a problem, you should not let someone's past get in the way of how you feel about them.

It can be dangerous. You have to know the person well. Perhaps he or she cannot be around people who are drinking. Maybe you will have to leave social gatherings earlier than other guests before the serious drinking starts. And if you used to drink with mutual friends, you may have to cut them out for a while.

This depends on how bad the alcoholism was, how long they have been sober, and whether they have relapsed. If they have been off booze for years and never relapsed, it's fine. If they are in and out of alcoholism, they are still addicted, so stay away.
