I was pregnant six times and had them with all of them. Garlic tablets seem to help, but I had thin blood so couldn't do that with all of them. Straight apple cider vinegar, a tablespoon in the morning kept them at bay, and also cutting sugar intake.

You are more likely to get one; yeast feeds on increased sugar in vaginal secretions from hormonal/chemical changes, especially during the second trimester. While pregnant yeast infections are only treated with cream/suppository (not a pill). If untreated it could pass to the baby during birth as thrush (treatable).

It is very common. While pregnant, your body produces strong hormones and can cause a reaction in your system that your reproductive organs may not agree with. Causing a burning, itching or other symptoms.

There are many hormones associated with pregnancy. These hormones can be attributed to yeast infections when a woman is pregnant. Candias is the form of yeast infection most woman get at certain times (such as at the end of a menstrual cycle).
