breastfeeding

Is it common for your breast to become lobsided while breastfeeding?

Up till I became pregnant my breast were perfect, I am concerned that they will never be normal again.

Sometimes one breast makes more milk than the other. And normally one is bigger than the other even before lactating. This may just make it more pronounced in your case. Most likely they will return to the same size, with the only usual changes from having breastfed.

You just need to feed or pump evenly. What you do to one, do to the other and they will stay the same, both stretching and contracting.

My children preferred the heart-side breast so it got a bit bigger than the right side. I nursed a little more on the right to even things out.

When the milk comes in it looks like your breasts are disfigured, this too shall pass. Your body and breasts will adjust to the amount of milk needed.

Yes it is common for one side to be larger than the other especially when breastfeeding. If the baby has not emptied the breast completely it may be larger than the other. Your whole body will change and probably not be the "same" as pre-pregnancy. Don't worry just exersize!
