Taking aspirin is a personal choice, and so is taking it coated or uncoated. For many people the coated makes the pill easier to swallow and prevents aspirin taste in the mouth.

Coated asprin is better for your stomach. Asprin can cause stomach pains and lead to ulcers. The effectiveness if not affected by the coated asprin so it is safer.

If you do not have any stomach problems and do not mind its bitter taste, uncoated aspirin will actually work faster because it begins dissolving in your mouth. The coated aspirin will be gentler on your stomach, but take slightly longer to work.

A coated aspirin will be better for a sensitive stomach. The relase is slower and there fore the body has a chance to adjust and not react to an intruder.
