It's a good choice because they offer many different types of tours for you to choose from, so you can pick one the entire family would enjoy. Also, it can be geared to your levels of expertise of horseback riding and where you want to do it. You can choose from places in parts of the country or even overseas.

That seems to be something of personal preference. Considering the whole family loves horses it will definetly be a good choice for a family vacation but it would be interesting to consider the age of the children and how long the vacation will last. If the weather is not good, there should be other activities for the family.
