John the disciple described Heaven in the book of Revelations chapters 4 and 5 among others. However, there is more than one kind of heaven in the Bible.
Revelation 21:4 says "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. This is not saying we will be IN heaven....this says the tabernacle of God is WITH man. It does not say that man is taken up to heaven. add a comment
