The first symptom of Lyme Disease is a rash at the site of the bite. Since you know you have been bitten, look closely for any reddening or irritation. While headaches are known as a symptom of Lyme Disease, headaches are also an everyday ailment. Very few tick bites lead to Lyme Disease.

The first symptom of Lyme Disease is a rash at the tick bite, usually is circular and gets larger with time. After some time the patient shows flu like symptoms.

The syptoms are very non-specific. They include a fever, a specific rash, and maybe a headache. There is generally a malaise and perhaps arthralgias. The syptoms are generally quite non-specific initally, leading many nurse practitioners and doctors to miss the diagnosis initially. Once the blood tests confirm, the treatment is quite easy.
