Combat Roach Gel can be effective if used properly. If you have a very large problem this could be why others haven't worked so, a professional may be needed.

Roaches have an amazing ability to adapt, even in the face of poisons. Cockroaches are killed by various agents, but their offspring will be born anyway, and be immune to whatever killed the parent. Combat Gel may be effective in the short run, but for long-term effectiveness, use two parts Borax mixed with one part powdered sugar.
