Baseball card bubble gum, although very hard, is chewable. I used to buy Topps baseball cards when I was a kid and chewed the gum all the time with no side effects. In fact, the Topps company started as a chewing gum company, selling Bazooka bubble gum, then added baseball cards to their product line in 1951.

Yes, of course -- decades ago it was all we chewed throughout the summer while we collected the cards. You just need to be careful that it isn't too old -- like when you buy sale packages at a discount store -- or it is dry and stale. It's pretty similar to regular pink bubble gum, like "Double Bubble".

That depends on how old it is. I have bought some baseball cards that were put out years ago that gum was a hard as a rock. The fresh stuff is not too bad if you like bubble gum flavored gum.

Baseball card bubble gum is not very common these days, as it has been replaced by regular stick gums, but yes, they are chewable.
