The real question to ask yourself is the coverage provided by the suit acceptable for a woman of your age. As long as it provides adequate support and coverage you can certainly purchase a swim suit designed by Anne Cole. If not you should look elsewhere, like cold water creek.

As long as the bathing suit is conservative enough to be age appropriate you're never too old to own a fashionable bathing suit.

It depends on what you mean by "appropriate". In my opinion it would be appropriate if you feel comfortable in it and you can pull it off. Otherwise I would stay away from it.

Yes, anyone can wear an Anne Cole bathing suit despite the age. To make it a more sophisticated look you could wear the bath suit with a cute sarong and sandals when you are not in the water.
