First never chuck anything. Value is really funny. As for the Seth Grandfather Clocks, anything over 100 years is considered an antique but even then they can be value-less.

It depends on how old it is, most clocks takes about 50 - 100 years to become valuable. It is a well made clock, keep it in the family.
