Is a fully-restored 1978 Chevy truck worth anything?

Any beautifully restored vehicle is worth something to somebody. One guy could restore and cherish a Dodge Charger while another guy restores an AMC Gremlin and they may not like each other's cars.

Whether or not it is worth it really depends on how much time and money you put in to it. These are not the most highly collectible year of truck. You might be able to make some profit if you start with a cheap truck and do the work yourself.
