Is a divided government good?

A divided government is not good. In the United States system of government, it is necessary for all aspects of the government to be working together to be able to pass legislation that will ensure that the government is working smoothly. A divided goverment cannot accomplish anything for the people.

Divided governments occur when a large percentages of the population hold opposing views. A divided government that is limited by conflict cannot perform radical actions that a large plurality opposes.
