As long as you do not leave the baby unattended you should be safe. Baby products are tested before they are put out on the market. Just stay close by.

It is not. A playful child would experiment on doing a lot of things for fun. This places the child at risk in a chair that could get unstable.

It depends on how it is made and what kind of safety features it has. It needs to have a way of keeping the baby securely in the high chair and not be able to fall out. It also needs to be very stable and not easily fall over when it's rocking.

You should check to see if the chair is sturdy. If it wobbles side to side you might want to suggest a new one.
