In Excel 2010, when using Alt + Enter for an extra line in same cell the info doesn't appear in address bar. How do I fix it?

The cell has not been formatted to accept multi-lines of text. Click on the cell, then click the right-mouse button to activate the short-cut menu. Select "Format Cells" from the menu. Click on the Alignment tab. Place a check mark in "Wrap Text". Click OK.

In Excel 2010,use the formula to insert alt enter into a cell.You can use char(10): =a1&char(10)&a2. Just make sure that the Word Wrap is on and the row is set tall enough to see the wrap. Hope that helps.
