In Eastern Orthodoxy, who is Severus?

Answer by  cookiebookie (145)

He was the Patriarch of Antioch from AD 512-518. His great aim was to unite the Non-Chalcedonians, which he was able to do. He also wrote a lot, but much of his work has been lost throughout the ages.

Severus of Antioch was a sixth century patriarch of the Eastern Orthodox Church. Born pagan, he was baptized and eventually repudiated the Christian church.
