It is probably because you attempted to copy and paste the images instead of making sure that the. jpg or. gif file exists in the html of your page. You have to have a copy of the image that the site can refer back to.

Your image links are probably out of date or improperly written into the code of your site. If you're linking images from another site, you may encounter trouble if that site reorganizes its structure. If you're coding your own site, check the code to make sure you've not written folder or file names incorrectly. Always preview changes before posting live.

First of all, check if the website's code is correct. If an "X" is displayed the code refers to the wrong place. Check if the dashes are used correctly when using different folder and be aware that the code is case sensifitve.

Most likely, the image path in your html is wrong. It has to be the exact address of where the image is stored on your server.

First you must check the file extension. In the jpg format some files are ended with .jpg and some files are ended with .jpeg . Check the file root. check the file name (uppercase/lowercase).

Either you've got the image from another website that doesn't allow you to steal images, or your URL has been put in incorrectly - it can't find the image.

Try to refresh the page, if you will go to right click and view the image or open a file. It is possible, and have a ban on open files on a web browser, see the Web site from another browser. It is possible that the images are posted on the site are not UPLOADED

It could be the connection is slow, the image download is interrupted. Just need to click the Refresh button (or select menu "View -> Refresh") on the brower.
