If I were to get an extra line added on a Sprint plan, could I use my current number with another company and switch it to Sprint?

Yes, you will be able to transfer your number from another company to Sprint. The most important thing that you will want to make sure of is that that phone number you are transferring is not under any type of contract with the other company so you do not get any early termination fees.

Yes. This is just a matter of porting your number.. However you'll find difficulty with Sprint customer service as they are all dullards and Sprint continues to remain low in rank for service.

Yes, you can. This is called "porting" your number. If you are current with your current phone company, there should be absolutely no problem with porting your number over to Sprint on the second line. To make this change seamless, you should contact Sprint and have them handle letting your current phone company know to port the number to Sprint.

Yes you could. You are able to take you existing telephone number and switch it to any company. However, some companies charge a small fee ($20 - $30) to switch you number between companies. Sometimes Sprint will even pay this fee for you in order to get you to switch to them.
