Your first step is to see a Dermatologist. You acne might be caused by a bacterial infection and they can give you medication to help it to go away. They might also advice the use of certain shampoos to aid in the acne problem. Once you have taken these steps, your hair should grow back.

If the hair loss is not from genes and is not permanent, it will grow back in most cases. If there is still thin hair on the scalp, it will continue to grow when it is healthy. Find out what causes the acne on your scalp and provides treatments. It may take a while to have your hair fully grown.

Have you seen your dermotologist? Before thinking about growing your hair back, the infection on your scalp needs to be taken care of. Once the infection is cleared, your hair will grow, but very little-- about a half of an inch per month. Good luck!
