A leg fracture is a serious injury and should be attended to by a vet immediately. Future leg and hip issues or infection could result if the cat is not treated by a professional.

The treatment of the leg fracture determines the treatment. Hairline fractures are usually left untreated. Greenstick (partial break) and closed fractures will require closed reduction and casting. Open fractures would require surgery, most owners have the animal euthanized in this case.

You should take your cat to a vet immediately for a check up. The vet can then inform you of the options for treatment.

Leg fractures are ALWAYS treated by a vet. Diagnosis will include Xray, manual manipulation and other factors. Treatment will encompass a range including splinting, casting, surgery and amputation. If your cat has fractures you CAN NOT treat this on your own, and doing so constitutes cruelty. Call your vet or shelter.
