If you tested positive for Darvocet, and you do not have a prescription for Darvocet, you have some explaining to do. Depending on the reason for the drug test and the policies of whomever administered it, there could be a variety of consequences.

If you have one, bring a labeled prescription, and/or a doctor note. The test must have been specific. If the prescription is old, mention POLITELY your recent use for mild pain. The consequences depends on the test/circumstances. For probation, the first time should be okay; be honest and careful thereafter!

Depends on who tested you, an employer? you can expect to get fired if you were not prescribed this medication. if its your probabtion officer or drug counsellor, you could be in some steep trouble and could face more strict probabtion and possibly small amount of jail time. if it was a parent you could also get locked up.

It's prescription medication that shows up on urine tests, so you'll need to show the tester your bottle, a prescription and material from your doctor authorizing your use of Darvocet.

Darvocet contains propoxyphene which has been linked to serious side effects including heart attacks and sudden death, so some countries have banned its sale. It is a type of opiate so may give positive results for narcotic drug tests. It does not seem to be on the list of banned drugs for competitive sporting bodies.Seek expert advice specific to your situation.

You took a drug test and you are positive for darvocet a synthetic narcotic similar to demerol. As a nurse I can tell you that if you don't have a condition requiring that drug and a script for that drug written by your doctor --in your name, you are in deep shit. If you are legal you are all set.

You need to establish if the test was accurate and if you really did take Davocet. You may need to employ a lawyer to defend you in court if any action is taken against you.
