Sometimes, it takes your body some time to get back in its' regular cycle. This is due to the forced hormone changes that happen when you take birth control. Make sure you are getting adequate iron in your diet because, if you are anemic, you will not be able to have a cycle.

Start saving your money and check your health insurance to see what pregnancy benefits you have. Call all your current sex partners and get DNA samples to determine paternity. Start thinking about baby names, who might host a baby shower for you, when would be the best time to tell your parents, and Godparent candidates.

If you were using Depo Provera or another birth control method that stopped your period, this may take several months. If you were on the pill or a contraceptive ring and your period has not returned, then take a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant. If not pregnant, see a doctor.
