I have severe weight gain (never before). sleeplessness, fatigue, muscle ache/ could this be thyroid?

It could be. But it could also be a lot of other things. Stress could even cause all this. You should go to the doctor and get checked.

Thyroid could be part of the issue. However, consider the overconsumption of refined carbohydrates, which break down into simple sugars which then feed candida albicans. This destructive yeast flourishes in the body, embedding itself in the muscle tissue, causing severe muscle ache and pain. Follow a diet free of bread, cookies, crackers, pasta, switching to raw vegetables and light proteins

This could be thyroid, but it could also be other things like depression. However depression can be a result of a thyroid disorder, you should see your doctor and have some simple blood work done to determine if this is the cause. Any changes such as you listed above require a medical consultation.

Before I even read the second part of the sentence i immediately thought of a thyroid problem. It could also be fibromialga. Either way you should see a doctor and there will be many tests.
