An ovarian mass could be many things, from a cyst to a build up of folicles in your ovaries. You should follow up with your doctor to rule out anything that could be dangerous or to determine if the cyst needs to be removed via laporscopy surgery, which is done out patient.

There i no way to know exactly what the mass is without having it tested and diagnosed by your doctor. It may be a cyst. You would want to definitely find out if it is cancerous or not.
