I have a motorhome. The motor on one of the slides has fluid leaking. Besides taking it in, is there anything I can do?

Have you tried to request a rebuild kit for the motor? They tend to be cheaper than taking the motorhome in.A lot of camper/ motorhome business should have access to the kits. If it is coming from a seal, most auto parts store will sell stop leak that swells seals.

You could check and refill the level of the engine's oil - most likely from the dipstick you can access when the bonnet is raised. check again a week later - if your engine is losing oil slowly then you may be able to put of having it repaired for a while.

First use a black light to find where the fluid is coming from. Then use a product called J B weld to seal.
