I would suggest that you call you doctor right away and inform them of the situation. This could be something that goes away with time, but just to be safe.
That's a good guess as they lay you on your side for this. If they gave you an epidural for pain management, that could also be a cause. However, 10 days is a long time. I suggest you follow up with your orthopedic surgeon.
