It is normal for your body to be advancing towards delivery at this stage. A pregnancy is considered full term at any point between 37 and 42 weeks of gestation, so you may deliver at any time. However, it is also possible to remain dilated at a 2 for several days.

This is very normal at this stage of pregnancy, you are nearing the time in which you will have yoru baby. Your body is preparing for birth and your baby is moving down the birth canal. You should make sure your bags are packed and you are prepared to go to the hospital or birthing center.

It's completely normal. While you still have a week to go, even if you went into labor today, your baby would be well developed. It's normal to start dilating/effacing a few days or weeks before. If you're worried about contractions paired with your dilation, talk to your doctor about it.

Many people have the child at 39 weeks so it is not considered early at all. Once u are 37 weeks the baby is considered full term so you have nothing to worry about. It could come any day so be ready and waiting for it now. Congrats on your new baby!
