A standardized recipe is one which has all the necessary information about how to cook or prepare a Dish in other words a recipe which has all the necessary information such as cooking method of a particular dish, its cooking time, How much ingredients in how much quantity is required to prepare the dish etc.

When we make a recipe using measurements in the ingredients, like if we are making a cake, we would measure 1 bowl flour, 1bowl sugar, 3 eggs etc., that is called standard recipe. A standard recipe is, as its said to standardize each dish this is good in consistency, in quality and cost control.
