Laminate floor t-molding should only be installed where upon two sections of flooring meet that need to be seperate, ie carpet to laminate floor. Placing firmly over the speration, the t-molding must cover both seperate sections, using the appropriate nail for the job, nail down firmly making sure unmoveable.
T-molding is used to transition from one type of flooring to another. It is placed between the 2 floors. Both floors must be of equal height for the molding to sit correctly. It is attached to the subflooring not the actual floor.
First of all,if it's a large surface you will need some help. The,there's a material that you need to apply on the floor, and then put the laminate floor, over that material, fix it at the corners with screws and that's all
The instructions for this are a little too long, but you'll be able to find videos and step by step instructions by putting your question in a search engine.
