You should first of all just be yourself because girls can usually tell if you trying to hard. Find out what she likes. Ask her about her hobbies and get interested in some of the things she likes to do. Make sure your appearance is nice and that you hygiene is good.

Just try talking to her and getting to know her. Don't come on too strong, but don't just set yourself up to be "the friend" either.

There's no sure fire way to get someone to like you. Be yourself, find things you enjoy doing, be friendly, and be open to meeting new people and doing new things. If you are happy in your life other than having a girlfriend people will be drawn to that and want to be around you, including girls.

Just be yourself. If the girl is honest and really likes you, she will like you for you. Be Honest and tell her how you feel. You might be surprised to find out that she feels the exact same way! If you dont know her, just go up and start a conversation. Good Luck!
