How to do makeup to get the grungy look?

The mussy, just got-out-of-bed look. I can't see to perfect the eyeliner, etc.

Eyeliner pencils are too precise. You would have to use an eyeliner brush and black or brown eyeshadow and apply just like eyeliner.

Rim your eyes with a creamy dark eyeliner, and use a stiff brush, or q-tip to smudge and blend out. You could also go over with dark eyeshadow and blend
