How to change outside temperature reading from Celsius to Fahrenheit on a Volkswagen?

I have a hard time converting it in my head and would like to have it changed for good.

This really depends on what model you got. If you have for example a golf 5 generation you click the button on the front of your steeringwheel then you push it down twice. That puts you in the right menu then go down to celsius/fahrenheit and press once.

It's in the DIC. If you scroll through the menu to the selection labeled - "Units (Eng/Met)", then use the arrow and the selection should come up. Use the arrow again to scroll down to the unit you desire whether is be Clesius to Franehiet or the other way around. it could always be changed back if you wish.

Just press and hold the re-circulation button. Then press the temperature up (+) button to switch between Celsius to Fahrenheit climate control temperature.

Well it depends from model to model. You can find it in the DIC, in the menu you will find "Units (Eng/Met)", after clicking this scroll through the men and you will find Clesius to Franehiet. You just have to chose this and you are good to go. You can also reverse it the same way.

You should be able to change it by pressing a button on the mirror or on the stereo. It depends on where your display is at. If that does not work you can check in the owners manual and it will show you how to do it and it will show you how to keep it that way.

I'm pretty sure to change it you basically adjust it with the gage that is on the roof or by the dash.

this sometimes although nobody knows why because they do not disconnect the battery when replacing the windshield. Even disconnecting the battery should not cause it to switch. The dealer fixes it by disconnecting the battery for an hour unfortunately this is not working for me and I'm stuck in Fahrenheit.
