Very fast! Platys breed quickly and will soon overrun your tank! they can have new batches of "fry" (baby fish) every few weeks, and they come by the hundreds. Most any pet store platy is mature enough to breed they will be mature around. 5 inches long. Keep one male to a few females and provide ideal conditions.
