Start when the child was born, advancing through his/hers toddler years. The first thing they did. The funny things they did. Back them up with photos. Add a Mothers touch about how you felt at that time and how proud you were at that point. Repeat til present.

A child's scrapbook should have some semblance of chronological order of events in the child's life so far. This fosters a sense of gradual remembrance, as well as instilling early in the child's development, a recognition of patterns and chronology, as well as providing a definite timeline of childhood for when the child is much older and nostaligic.

There are many different ways to organize a scrapbook. They can be done by theme, by date, or other creative ways- like ABC's! I find that for children, it is easiest to work chronologically. I use the family calendar to help me remember the order of events, then look for the pictures and momentos as I go along.

chronologically or you can use each letter of the alphabate for each page. You could also take every letter from first middle and last name and use each letter for a page.
