To kill bentgrass at first we not avoid over watering,over fertilizing.then we can use herbicide glyphosate to kill bentgrass.

Keep the grass on your lawn thick and healthy, don't overwater or cut too low. Use Roundup or other pesticides to kill bentgrass when it is actively growing.

By using chemical it can be killed. I think switching to organic will solve this problem unless the grass is weed form or bent.
