At the hardware store, they offer a "filler" that allows you to fill cracks and holes. Alot of offer different colors. Take the tube or putty, spread into cracked area. With a wet sponge, wipe off the remainder. Make sure you press it somewhat firmly into the problem area. You may also use a protective coating after its cured.

Bondo is the best method. It will take stain, as long as it's the right color. Minwax also sells a wood filler which is essentially the same as bondo, but is a lighter color and uses a white hardener instead of the red hardener for bondo.sand because after they are hard(5mins)

The best thing to do is to get a wood filler and a good water based sealant. You should use water based because the wood will be use to the water from the stain.

All you need to do is fill the crack with a liquid sealant that you can buy at any store. After the sealant fills apply a protective enamel coating.

If your deck is wood, use wood putty to fill the cracks. If your deck is concrete, you can use concrete caulk. Concrete cracks will tend to grow over time.

Depending on the type of deck mix a bit of sand and epoxy for stone or use wall patch material for wood.

This depends on what your deck is made of. If it's wood, you can by a woodfiller. If it's concrete, you can use quikcrete.
