How should I do an RV interior wall repair?

Answer by  Champ (552)

Depends on the level of your current skill, and the severity of the damages that need to be repaired. If you don't feel up to the task or you consider yourself a novice it might be best to have a mechanic or a tech you trust do the work for you.

Locate the closest wall attached area around the repair area. They are not studs, but a smaller board. Gently pry the area away, and replace the paperboard with new.

If the interior wall of an RV needs to be repaired, we have to first try to get rid of the surface irregularity so that we have a smooth surface.

Very carefully. You would not want your RV inerior wall to become an exterior wall by mistake. Use only manufacturer approved parts and check with your orthodontist regularly to ensure a proper outcome. Failing all that, there is always duct tape. Enjoy my friend, and may the force be with you.
