A six week old puppy is too young to be separated from its mother and its litter. Some states it is illegal to sell a puppy that young.

The puppy may need some weightless balls and other toys for playing. Keep a coisy bed and a shallow tray for food. Dog buiscuts are ever needed and YOUR LOVE.

you should wait another 2 weeks and let the puppy stay with the mother. it is way to early to seperate them. 8 weeks is the minimum age.

With lots of research. Like having a child, you have accepted the resposiblility no matter the temperment. Personality won't be established until about 4 months so wait.

Get everything you don't want chewed on off the floor, have food/feeders, bed and lots of newspaper on hand. Puppies are a LOT of work, but worth it.
