How rare are gold baseball cards?

The gold baseball cards is quite rare there is only 50 sets of them. So, if you get your hands on one card or a set of the gold cards put up a auction or just hang on to it.

These cards are really rare and only a limited number of gold cards were released. If you got your hands on one, my advice is to stick to it.

Unfortunately, gold baseball cards are not rare. In the early 1990s, many of the leading card companies--Topps, Donruss, Leaf, et al. --began producing tens of thousands of gold, gold-plated, and gold-colored cards as inserts. As such, many are valued at around a nickle a piece.
