To ride the mopeds atleast 18 years of age is required which is considered as a minimum age that an individual should possess. The license to ride the two wheeler are provided only at 18 years of age. This age is the appropriate age to ride the mopeds as people will be aware of taking safety measures also.

Laws may differ by state. When you get into mopeds over 50 cc that's when you have more regulation. Most states require that you have license for these. If you're off road on private land laws may be more lenient. You might have to have plates, insurance or other documents. Check with your local police dept. Or dmv.
