In most state you have to be 16 to get your drivers license. At 15 1/2 you can take the test to get your temperary license.

This depends on the state in which you live; in some states, you can take driver's ed and get a permit at fifteen, in others not until you are sixteen. All states issues licenses to those over eighteen who are able to pass the tests; there will be a lot of tests.
