Tomato plants should be given a deep watering two to three times per week depending on the weather, counting rain days as a water day. Once the weather cools watering should be cut back to about once a week. Tomato plants will wither during the hottest part of the day, but will bounce back once the sun sets.

In the hot summertime when the temperature is around 90 or above water tomato plants late every evening before dark.
