The shot is actually a test, not an immunization. You'll often have to take it as a child before attending school or when you start college. A lot of school districts will also require teachers to be tested before they can be hired. If your skin reacts to the shot, then you'll have to get further tests.

You usually need to get a TB test once a year. A TB test does not immunize you against TB. It tests for TB. Sometimes the tests are two part. .

Depends on the cirumstances. In the healthcare field most employers require you to have it done annually. It does not immunize you against TB it only checks to see if you have been exposed to TB.
