I put wax on my car every other month and I use Mothers Wax. The frequency you wax and polish depends on the weather elements in your area. If it rains a lot, I would recommend you to wax and polish often.

You can wax and polish it as often as you like. However unless you want a ton of fine scratches then you need to make sure the car is completely spotless. Also use a micro fiber cloth pad and and a high quality polishing compound in an adjustable speed buffer.

You should rinse off with water, dry. Then wax, you can wax as many times as you want. Car soap and other soaps strip the wax. No soap
