How much weight can a Honda CRX tow?

I would only feel comfortable referring you to your dealer or Honda. I really looked into this, and the "go-to" guys were very cautious. First off, you really don't want to tow something longer or heavier than your vehicle. This isn't a heavy duty machine, your safety as well as those on the road is foremost. So again, consult Honda.

I towed 1751 on axle, according to a truck stop, for about 17K miles. I was traveling around the country. My car is fine. Build your own custom tow hitch to get the job done.

This type of car is not designed for towing and should not be used. But if one were to tow it would haul no more than five hundred pounds.

It would be very unsafe to tow anything with a Honda CRX. Now in answer to your question. With a correctly installed Hitch, it could pull a 500 pound trailer.

Since various models had around 90 ft/lbs of torque I would say not a lot. I think it would be doing good just carrying four full sized adult let alone towing anything.

It really depends on what type of engine that your have in your current Honda. If you do have to V8 then you can tow more than in the V6.
