It depends on the jurisdiction where the prosecutor is assigned. Prosecutors are government employees, so they are paid accordingly. A prosecutor in NYC will make much more than one in Bloomington, Indiana, for example. There are prosecutors at different levels of government, too (city, county, state, federal). Experience plays into it. Salaries range: $55,000 - $375,000
